Geelong will name Joel Selwood for Saturday’s AFL clash with Brisbane but coach Chris Scott says the final decision on the midfielder’s availability rests with medical staff.
Selwood was a late omission from last weekend’s match with Greater Western Sydney due to concussion but has been training with the Cats throughout the week on the Gold Coast.
Scott says while Selwood appears fit and healthy, he was in a similar situation last week and it will be up to club doctors to make the final call on the the Cats captain’s condition.
