‘Roos delist Daw ahead of AFL rookie draft

North Melbourne have delisted Majak Daw, but want to retain him through the AFL rookie draft.

He is due to stand trial in the County Court next month for rape.

Daw is the AFL’s first Sudanese-born player and the ruck-forward played two senior games this season for a career total of 16.

The rookie draft will be held on November 27.

North also announced on Thursday that they had delisted Kieran Harper.
