St Kilda skipper Nick Riewoldt has fully recovered from a concussion and is free to play against Hawthorn in Launceston on Saturday.

Coach Alan Richardson spoke to reporters at Melbourne Airport on Friday and confirmed Riewoldt had passed concussion protocols this week following the knock to the head he received in the Saints’ courageous win over Collingwood.

Young forward Paddy McCartin was also knocked out in that game but has also been given the green light to take on the Hawks.
