Richmond Tigers vs Carlton Blues Preview
Richmond and Carlton will meet for the second time this season in a huge Thursday night game at the MCG.
Last time these two teams met it was Carlton who got the chocolates and that spurred them into a great first half of the season.
They’re coming off a win against Essendon but were far from their best.
Richmond had a good tough win over Port Adelaide last round and will be ready to go come Thursday night.
Tough game but at $2.05 Carlton are better value so I’m backing them here.
Betting Update:
Richmond have shortened in betting this week. They’ll be without Dustin Martin but that hasn’t stopped punters jumping on the Tigers.
Richmond opened at $1.87 and have shortened into $1.72 with Ladbrokes.
Carlton’s backline has been decimated by injury and it’s seen them drift out to $2.15 after touching $1.95 during the week.
Head To Head Bet
We're tipping Carlton Blues to win at $2.15 odds.
First Goal Scorer
First Goal Scorer: Harry McKay at $8.50.
