Tonight’s AFL Round 1 match is between the Richmond Tigers and Carlton Blues with the kickoff being at 7:45pm EDT (Melbourne Time).

Richmond head into the match with four new players  Ivan Maric from Adelaide FC, Addam Maric from Melbourne Demons, Steven Morris who is a mature aged draft pick and Brandon Ellis who was Richmonds first round draft pick in November last year during the national draft.

Whilst the Carlton Blues wont be lining up with any new players in the team although Jeremy Laidler will return from a knee injury for the match.

Carlton will be without experienced players Michael Jamison and Nick Duigan, ruckman Robert Warnock and forward Andrew Walker all through injury.

We expect with the inclusions for the Tigers and the injuries for Carlton that it will be a close game although we still believe Carlton will win the match even though all support in the betting has been for the Tigers.
