Port has opened three-goal favourites at home against Fremantle on Saturday, an interesting market with both sides remaining in Adelaide after Gather Round.
The Power are well-rested after dismantling Essendon last Friday night. Port not only held Essendon to a measly 42 points, but also saw the very best of Connor Rozee shine through with three goals and 36 touches from the youngster.
Freo came off second-best to Carlton in a low-scoring arm wrestle, a game theyd absolutely like to have back after dominating for well over 100 minutes before the Blues finished over the top on the back of Jacob Weiterings brilliance.
The battle through the midfield should be the focus again this week with Rozee in Brownlow form, alongside fellow smokies and ball magnets, Caleb Serong and Andrew Brayshaw.
Who has the upper hand through the centre of the ground is up for debate, but until we see Freo turn their classy possessions into more points on the scoreboard, I think Port has the edge here at home.
