The second of four matches set down for Saturday sees Port hosting Collingwood.
The home team surprised all last week when producing a season best effort to account for Sydney 72-54.
The win, Port’s seventh of the season and their fourth from six games at home, saw them cling to eighth spot on the ladder.
They’ll need to produce something similar again this week as their opponents Collingwood, have won the past seven encounters and nine of the last ten.
After an up-and-down season in terms of results, the Pies have enjoyed a good time of the draw recently and recorded big wins in the past three weeks over Brisbane, Melbourne and Western Bulldogs.
It has given the Pies the momentum they’ve been looking for and against a team they hold a substantial record over, they are rightly a short-priced favourite to make it four wins on the trot here.
Despite having a 2-2 record when playing away as favourites and the effort of Port last week fresh in mind, expecting Collingwood to be good enough to cover the line.
