Port Adelaide make four AFL re-signings

Port Adelaide announced the contract extensions of four AFL players on Friday at the Power’s season launch.

Justin Westhoff, Jasper Pittard, Cam O’Shea and Ollie Wines have all recommitted to the Power, who finished seventh last season.

“It’s very positive. It shows that they believe in what we’re doing, how we’re going about it and that they want to be a part of it,” senior coach Ken Hinkley said.

Justin Westhoff has signed until 2017 and believes he will see out his career with Port Adelaide.

“It would be nice to be a one-club player,” Westhoff said.

“Being from SA and staying here playing AFL is very much a dream come true.”

Jasper Pittard has also signed for another three years, while Cam O’Shea will stay at the club until at least the end of 2016.

Second-year player Ollie Wines has signed a new two-year deal after playing every game in his debut season, including two finals.

“My time at the club has been fantastic so far and I’m really comfortable with where I’m at,” Wines said.

“We’ve got a really good, young group here and it’s very exciting to be a part of it.”
