Brisbane midfielder Pearce Hanley has been granted a trade to AFL rivals Gold Coast.

The Irishman, who has been among the Lions’ best players during his nine years at the club, joins the Suns along with pick No.67 in the AFL draft.

In a three-way trade, the Lions get Gold Coast’s pick No.22 and Port Adelaide’s 2017 first round draft pick, while the Power receives the Lions’ pick No.19 and the Suns’ pick No.30.
