Sydney Premiership coach Paul Roos has firmed into a long odds-on favourite to be the next Brisbane coach following confirmation Brisbane is chasing him.
Roos is a $1.60 clear favourite to take the job with current care-taker coach Mark Harvey a $4 second favourite.
“We rated Roos a $2.50 chance when news broke of Michael Voss’ sacking last night but following confirmation Brisbane has spoken to him and constant money from the punters we’ve been forced to install him a red-hot $1.60 favourite,” Centrebet’s Michael Felgate said.
“It appears the job is his for the taking and the speculation and money suggests Roos is ready to re-join the coaching ranks.”
