North Melbourne and Collingwood at Ikon Park should make for a great matchup as both teams play their historic first AFLW finals match.

Collingwood have been one of the great improvers this season, coming back from outright last to a finals berth in unprecedented circumstances and North Melbourne are on a mission.

Last weekend, the Roos had a bit of a slow start against Geelong in the first half but then managed to boot 10 straight goals with Jasmine Garner clearly North’s best.

North Melbourne have been a class unit all season and go into this match firm favorites for a reason.

While they didn’t know it at the time, Collingwood’s 29 point win over the Lions secured them a spot in the AFLW finals.

The Pies dominated all day, however their inaccurate kicking of 5 goals, 13 behinds cost them what would have been a percentage booster but that’s all changed now.

North’s accuracy in front of goal along with their class and polish should see them easily account for Collingwood who despite their great improvement this year – they won’t get in the way of the Kangaroos.
