Sydney ruckman Toby Nankervis and North Melbourne veteran Brent Harvey have been cleared to play Saturday’s AFL match in Hobart.

Young West Coast forward Simon Tunbridge, who was offered a three-match ban after being charged over two separate incidents, is the only player facing suspension after round 21.

St Kilda veteran Sam Fisher was sent to hospital for scans of his jaw after being flattened by Nankervis at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

The match review panel scrutinised the incident and deemed Nankervis only “braced for contact with his arms crossed”.

“Nankervis action was not a bumping motion and his actions were not reportable,” the panel said in its weekly findings.

Young ruckmen Nankervis and Sam Naismith have been in impressive form recently, with Kurt Tippett set to return as a forward at the weekend when the Swans seek to shore up their place in the top four.

The Kangaroos risk slipping outside the top eight if they don’t defeat either Sydney or Greater Western Sydney in the final rounds.

Harvey was booked for his high forearm on Hawthorn midfielder Sam Mitchell but can accept a $1000 fine with an early plea.

Hawks skipper Luke Hodge and North defender Michael Firrito have also been handed fines after being charged for wrestling in that match.

Tunbridge’s season could potentially be over after he knocked out GWS defender Adam Kennedy in a sling tackle.

Tunbridge, who has played only 10 games, can accept a two-match ban for that incident.

The 23-year-old was also booked for striking Kennedy in the third term of the Eagles’ thrilling win on Saturday, with the panel deeming the blow worthy of a one-game suspension.

The sixth-placed Eagles face Hawthorn and Adelaide in a challenging run to September.

The panel also punished a melee that broke out during the third quarter of Brisbane’s four-point win over Carlton at the Gabba.

Lions Rhys Mathieson, Eric Hipwood and Ben Keays can accept $1000 fines, while Blues Lachie Plowman ($1500) and Sam Docherty ($1000) were also docked.
