Port Adelaide could have some company atop the ladder heading into Saturday’s game if the Lions take care of Collingwood on Friday night.

The Power won’t have to worry too much though as they prepare to take on a North Melbourne side that has lost five straight games.

These two sides are both coming off a much-needed bye, but it’s very difficult to see the Kangaroos pulling off a miraculous upset.

North squandered a prime opportunity to record their last win of the season against the Suns a week ago in a very lethargic 91-28 defeat.

Port, meanwhile, enjoyed a fairly cruisy end to August with victories over Hawthorn and Sydney and this easy run should help them immensely heading into the final two games against Essendon and Collingwood.

The Power have also been an exceptional betting play at Metricon this year going 4-1 overall.

With rest on their side, this should get ugly.
