Geelong coach Chris Scott says the Cats won’t consider Lachie Henderson for Friday night’s AFL qualifying final against Hawthorn unless they are convinced the key defender has recovered fully from knee surgery.
Henderson missed the Cats’ big round-23 victory over Melbourne.
“We’ll give him every chance but I’ve said publicly already that we don’t have any real interest in putting him out there unless we’re absolutely certain he can perform,” Scott said on Tuesday.
