West Coast ruckman Nic Naitanui remains optimistic he’ll be able to return to AFL action late next season.
Naitanui underwent a knee reconstruction last month, and he’ll meet with his surgeon on Thursday to check his early progress.
The 2012 All-Australian hopes to return for the tail-end of the 2017 home-and-away season.
