Naitanui ruled out of AFL’s western derby

West Coast ruckman Nic Naitanui has been ruled out of Sunday’s western derby at Domain Stadium, while star Fremantle pair Matthew Pavlich and David Mundy are in doubt.

Naitanui is still in Fiji following the death of his mother, with the funeral to be held on Friday.

Dockers coach Ross Lyon says he’s not sure about the availability of Mundy and Pavlich, who both underwent scans for mystery injuries on Monday.

West Coast coach Adam Simpson said Jeremy McGovern (hamstring) would join Mark LeCras (suspended) on the sidelines for the top-of-the-table clash.
