Carlton skipper Marc Murphy has overcome a tumultuous AFL outing and will lead the Blues west to play Fremantle this weekend.
Murphy was sick during last week’s loss to Western Bulldogs and was kneed in the head by Jordan Roughead but has been declared fit by coach Brendon Bolton for the clash of the AFL’s two winless clubs.
The midfielder wore headgear at training, which the club said was due to a cut in last week’s match.
