Morris to continue Bulldogs AFL career

Veteran AFL defender Dale Morris has re-signed with Western Bulldogs for one more season.

The 34-year-old has played 241 AFL games for the club, including the 2016 premiership.

“On the field, Dale’s versatility down back is invaluable and we know he gives his all every time he pulls on the jumper,” Bulldogs list manager Jason McCartney said.

“He’s been a stalwart at our footy club for many, many years, and with his experience, toughness and work ethic, he’s the ideal player to have around our young group as they continue to grow and mature.”

The 2008 all-Australian is joined in re-signing with the Bulldogs by Jack Redpath and Lukas Webb, who have signed two year extensions, keeping them at the club until at least the end of the 2019 season.
