Star recruit Tom Mitchell feels fortunate to be at Hawthorn, despite their ongoing AFL struggles.

The former Sydney midfielder has no regrets about joining the Hawks, who will start at long odds against the Crows on Thursday night at Adelaide Oval.

“I’m very fortunate to be in the position I’m in at such a great club and I can understand why there would be some conjecture about that, with the results,” he said.
