Coming off a 21 point win to kick off their season, Melbourne will go into this clash with the Tigers who are still yet to win an AFLW game the clear $1.14 head to head favourite at time of publish.

The Demons were able to turn the game around early in the second quarter after trailing by a point.

Three goals in the second quarter, five unanswered and a masterclass from All Australian frequent flyer Karen Paxman saw Melbourne do it easily.

While they go into the game at Winx-like odds, they shouldn’t underestimate the Tigers.

Richmond’s AFLW team is still very much a work in progress.

Tigers fans will take comfort that the signs of improvement are there but were simply outclassed by the Brisbane Lions who ran away with a 29 point win.

Skipper Katie Brennan will rue the 0-3 she kicked for the day.

The line has been set at -24.5 in favour of Richmond.

I just can’t see the Tigers covering it, but they might get within striking distance.
