McCartin signs two-year AFL deal

Key forward Paddy McCartin has signed a two-year extension with AFL club St Kilda.

The Saints announced the deal on Tuesday that will keep the 2014 No.1 national draft pick at Seaford until at least the end of the 2018 season.

“Paddy’s re-signing is firstly an important part of our list strategy going forward, but secondly it is a really good indication that he believes in our football program and the direction that we are heading in,” coach Alan Richardson said.
