Melbourne ruckman Mark Jamar has signed a new three-year deal with the Demons, ending speculation he may look to move to another AFL club.
Jamar, 28, agreed on Friday to remain with the Demons until the end of 2015.
Jamar would have been in huge demand if he had exercised his right to leave the club under new free agency rules, with Greater Western Sydney among a host of clubs in the market for an experienced ruckman.
He has played 120 games for Melbourne since his 2003 AFL debut.
