Gold Coast’s wretched injury run has continued with the Suns to lose Nick Malceski and Jesse Lonergan for Saturday’s AFL clash with Greater Western Sydney.
Suns coach Rodney Eade confirmed on Thursday Malceski (knee) and Lonergan (shoulder) would both not be fit to face the in-form Giants with Sean Lemmens and Mitch Hallahan to come in to the team.
The pair join a lengthy injury list at the Suns, which already includes nine senior players including captain Gary Ablett and star midfielders Dion Prestia and David Swallow.
