West Coast defender Eric Mackenzie is set to make his return from a knee reconstruction in Thursday night’s practice match against Gold Coast in Joondalup.
Mackenzie hasn’t played since suffering the injury a year ago, but he has been named to make his return in a squad also featuring Nic Naitanui, Mark LeCras and Matt Priddis.
The Suns have named an inexperienced side missing veterans Matt Rosa, Nick Malceski, Michael Rischitelli and Gary Ablett.
