Brisbane co-captain Jonathan Brown has suffered a suspected serious foot injury early in the Lions’ AFL clash against St Kilda.
Brown was subbed out of the match midway through the first quarter after appearing to tear the plantar fascia in his left foot 14 minutes into play at the Gabba.
The 31-year-old power forward is off contract at the end of the season and has yet to commit to suiting up again for the 2014 season – which would be his 15th in the AFL.
