Levi Greenwood is set to be a shock inclusion for Collingwood’s trip to face Sydney, helping under-pressure AFL coach Nathan Buckley.

While Jamie Elliot and Daniel Wells remain at least a week away from senior football, hard-edged midfielder Greenwood is travelling as part of a 23-man group less than three weeks after undergoing hip surgery expected to sideline him for over a month.

“His comeback and work back from hip surgery has been first class … he’s just like a fresh player that can come in. He’s been exceptional,” Buckley said on Thursday.
