Koschitzke could resume in AFL for Saints

St Kilda ruck-forward Justin Koschitzke could finally return to the senior side in Thursday’s AFL Anzac Day match against Sydney in Wellington.

Koschitzke was added to the Saints’ 25-man squad, which will be cut to the final 22 on Wednesday.

The 195-game tall utility has not played in the Saints’ senior side since round 21 last season.

All-Australian Sean Dempster is also in the squad after recovering from the broken wrist he suffered during the round-two loss to Richmond.

The Saints will make at least four changes, with Stephen Milne suspended, Beau Maister out for up to six weeks with a hand injury and Terry Milera and Trent Dennis-Lane dropped.

Tom Lee, Arryn Siposs, Tom Hickey and potential first-gamers Brodie Murdoch and Josh Saunders are the other additions to the Saints squad.

Sydney will be without Lewis Roberts-Thomson, who had knee surgery on Tuesday.

Jesse White, Craig Bird, Andrej Everitt and Tommy Walsh were added to their squad.
