Joel Selwood’s final regular round performance against Brisbane has put the Cats Captain in the box seat to claim his first Brownlow Medal.

Selwood shortened from $3.50 into $2.75 with Sportingbet.com.au and is an outright favourite ahead of Gary Ablett, who eased from $3 to $3.75.

“Selwood’s impressive contribution against Brisbane has tipped the odds in his favour and may just have won him the Brownlow Medal,” Sportingbet’s Andrew Brown said.
