Adelaide have confirmed a three-year AFL contract extension for ruckman Sam Jacobs in the wake of his boom 2012 season.
Jacobs played 24 games for the Crows last year and finished fourth in their best and fairest, as well as receiving an All Australian nomination.
He revealed the new deal in a Tweet on Sunday.
The 24-year-old was traded from Carlton at the end of 2010 after three seasons and 17 games with the Blues.
Jacobs has played 43 games for the Crows in two seasons and is now in their leadership group.
The new deal will tie him to Adelaide at least to the end of the 2016 season.
“Sam has been a fantastic player for us since returning home,” said Crows football boss David Noble.
“He … will certainly be an integral player for the club in the future years.”
