North Melbourne star Jack Ziebell says he’s ready, willing and able to be the next captain of the Kangaroos.
The 25-year-old has long been viewed as the heir apparent for the top job that was vacated by Andrew Swallow in October.
But Ziebell told reporters on Friday that he’s taking nothing for granted, with North to put in place a rigorous leadership program to determine the club’s next skipper.
