The Coleman Medal and Brownlow Medal have new favourites, with online bookmaker sportsbet installing Jack Riewoldt ($3.25) and Gary Ablett ($5.50) as the ones to beat after Round 8.
Despite being seven goals behind Jack, former favourite Buddy Franklin is next in the market at $3.50 for the Coleman followed by Josh Kennedy ($5.50) and Travis Cloke ($7.00).
After his five goal haul, Jarryd Roughead has come in from $51 to $16.
Having been the Brownlow favourite for most of the year, Jobe Watson has drifted from $5.50 to $6.50, while Patrick Dangerfield is also out from $7.00 to $10. Another dominant performance from Daniel Hannebery has seen him firm from $16 to $11.
“Buddy is a bit off the pace but we know he is capable of kicking a massive bag of goals any week, so he has still been the best backed player by punters,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.
