Hawthorn superstar Cyril Rioli will miss up to three months of the AFL season because of a knee injury, while teammates Ben Stratton and James Frawley are also set for long stints on the sidelines.
Scans confirmed Rioli suffered a high-grade posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) injury in the Hawks’ costly 38-point win over Brisbane.
Stratton (knee) will be out for at least a month, while Frawley will be sidelined for two months because of turf toe. Both defenders were injured in round eight.
