Hodge over broken arm, will play Saints

Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson has confirmed Luke Hodge will play in Saturday’s AFL match against St Kilda, less than three weeks after breaking his arm.

Hodge was initially expected to miss up to six weeks after breaking his right forearm in Hawthorn’s season-opening loss to Geelong.

In more good news for the reigning premiers, star forward Jack Gunston has spurned interest from rival clubs to sign a new three-year deal.
