Hawthorn champion Sam Mitchell’s AFL move to West Coast is complete.
The star midfielder joins the Eagles following 15 years and four premierships with the Hawks after publicly expressing his desire for a move to Perth this week.
The Hawks will receive picks 52, 70 and 88 in this year’s AFL draft in exchange for the 34-year-old, with pick 54 and 72 headed to West Coast.
