Hawthorn have recruited Port Adelaide’s Chad Wingard, offloading young defender Ryan Burton in an AFL trade that also involves an exchange of draft picks.

The Hawks swapped Burton, draft picks No.15 and No.35 plus a future fourth-round selection to acquire Wingard and Port’s future third-round selection.

Dylan Shiel, Dayne Beams, Lachie Neale and Jesse Hogan are among the AFL stars whose futures will be confirmed before the trade period closes on Wednesday at 8.30pm AEDT.
