Hartlett deciding whether to stay at Port

Port Adelaide vice-captain Hamish Hartlett will decide within a fortnight whether to stay at the AFL club after being mooted as trade bait.

Hartlett, who has four years to run on a contract with the Power, confronted club hierarchy after hearing speculation he was being shopped around to rival clubs.

“He was disappointed when he heard the speculation. To his credit, he went and confronted the club about it and they said in no uncertain terms that they hadn’t spoken to anyone,” Hartlett’s manager Michael Doughty told Adelaide radio station 5AA at the weekend.
