GWS Giants will start a new era with former coach Leon Cameron moving on from the position last round.
The caretaker coach Mark McVeigh couldn’t ask for a better opponent in his first week on the job with the West Coast Eagles struggling to compete at the moment.
While I think GWS should be able to take care of the Eagles I don’t think they deserve to be $1.16 favourites. That probably says a lot more about the Eagles though.

There has been a flood of money for West Coast at odds this week. The Eagles got out to a price of $6.25 before punters began backing them. They’re now into $4.60 and could continue to shorten.
The Giants remain the short-priced favourites but the move for West Coast would have to worry GWS fans. The Giants touched $1.12 this week before drifting to $1.20.
