GWS faces a must-win clash against North Melbourne in Canberra on Sunday afternoon, with its finals hopes hanging by a thread after a humbling 88-point loss to the Bulldogs. It was the Giants’ worst defeat since the 2019 Grand Final and leaves them likely needing to win all three remaining games to stay in the hunt for September action.
Fortunately for GWS, North Melbourne presents a softer challenge. The Kangaroos have now dropped six consecutive games, most recently going down by nine points to St Kilda in a low-scoring affair.
