A last-minute scramble as the chaos of the current COVID-climate means at short notice the Giants will host Adelaide in a closed-doors clash at Blacktown on Sunday.

While there may not be a lot of preparation time on the cards for both sides, it’s fair to say Adelaide will go in as clear favourite.

The likes of Erin Phillps, Chelsea Randall and Rhi Metcalfe being back to full fitness makes a massive difference in the Crows AFLW lineup as they easily accounted for West Coast last weekend.

Despite missing a fair bit of footy,  Erin Phillips is still as good as it gets in the AFLW.

It’s been a tough start for GWS, on and off the field for reasons beyond their control.

They had a crack against Freo early on, but were outclassed in the second half going down by 30 points.

The Giants will be glad to be back in Sydney, but the Crows should be way too good for them, even with the short notice to get ready to play this weekend.
