Preview:

GWS positioned themselves to win the game last week against the struggling Melbourne side but when they realised a win was in reach in the last quarter, they were like a deer in a headlight and didn’t know how to close the game out and lost by a 41 points!

They’ve lost their four games this season by an average of close to 50 points and it’s hard to see how they’ll win a game this year at the moment.

The Suns kicked this season off with a win over the St. Kilda (by 13 points) and came close in Round 3 to registering their second win when narrowly defeated (by 2 points) by Brisbane.

Last week they led at the first quarter over Port before a strong second quarter by the Adelaide side saw the Suns playing catch-up for the remainder of the game before finally finishing 38 points in arrears.

If they can’t start like that again this week, doubt very much that GWS will be able to run them down.
