Goodes puts booing issue behind him

Sydney Swans champion Adam Goodes says he has moved on from the booing he has gotten from AFL crowds and is intent on trying to win another premiership.

The Swans will celebrate their drought-breaking 2005 premiership later this week, with 35-year-old Goodes still hungry to add to his 2005 and 2012 grand final wins.

The dual Brownlow Medallist has been booed by small portions of the crowd at each of their last four games.

“The view is that I just move on, I have moved on,” Goodes said at the SCG on Wednesday.

“I’m really just looking forward to being at home for the next couple of weeks and a big crowd on Friday night (against Richmond) and a big one for the Port Adelaide game (the following Thursday.

“I don’t want to give it any more oxygen that it needs.”
