Gold Coast Suns vs Greater Western Sydney Giants 2013 AFL Round 23 preview and tips

By Gold Coast’s own coach’s admission, last week they put in a “stinker” of a performance against St. Kilda, losing by 46 points.

It was a performance that has become foreign to Gold Coast supporters as they fell away noticeably in the second of the match.

They’ll be out to finish the season, which has seen the Suns grow considerably in terms of performance on last year, with a big win here and they’ve been afforded the opportunity to do so hosting GWS.

The Giants only win of the year came over Melbourne back in round 18 but since then, they’ve been comprehensively beaten by Fremantle, Brisbane and last week Richmond by an average of 98 points.

Gold Coast have won the last two matches between the two teams by 30 and in round 5 this year, 49 points and have improved since, placing the start given to GWS of 35.5 well within their reach.
