Greater Western Sydney defender Adam Kennedy has praised the resilience of feisty Giants forward Toby Greene and backed him to come back stronger and better from his suspension.
All-Australian Greene, the joint second highest AFL goalkicker this season, has accepted a two-match ban for striking Western Bulldog Caleb Daniel in the most recent of several disciplinary issues that have blighted his otherwise impressive career.
“He’s been through some tough times, but credit to him he comes back even stronger and better and again that’s something he’ll do this time around,” Kennedy said.
