Geelong Cats vs Richmond Tigers Preview
Sunday’s fixtured game between Geelong and Richmond would have been penciled in as a potential blockbuster a month or two back.
Now the Tigers have fallen out of the top 8 and this game will be played in an empty stadium.
Still a lot on the line for both sides and Richmond’s win over Brisbane last week might be enough to fire them up and make an unlikely premiership run.
The Tigers will be without Dustin Martin though who has proven to be pivotal in big games like this.
I’ve got to go with the Cats here, they’ve been hard to fault for most of the year.
Market Update: No real eye catching moves in the market for this game which is no surprise given the form of both teams at the moment.
Geelong remain the clear favourites having shortened from their $1.37 opening price into $1.35. Richmond are mostly unwanted at $3.25 with online bookmaker Sportsbet.
Head To Head Bet
We're tipping Geelong Cats to win at $1.35 odds.
First Goal Scorer
First Goal Scorer: Tom Hawkins at $8.50.
