Geelong got home after the siren against the Demons and it was a massive win for them and now they take on Brisbane which is a chance to get another win and boost their percentage.

He’s very important to Geelong and 41 goals from 15 games is a great return.

The Lions just fell short of making it four wins in a row but their last month has been impressive and now it’s important they don’t drop away in the last five weeks of the season.

AFL News:

Star Melbourne ruckman Max Gawn would love to get another shot at kicking a match-winning AFL goal against Geelong this weekend.

Gawn was the unwitting villain in the two teams’ previous clash back in round one, when his missed set shot in the final minute allowed the Cats to cling on for a three-point victory.

“I’m more than happy to be involved in the same situation again, but I don’t know how I’ll react on the Monday if it goes the same way,” Gawn told reporters on Wednesday ahead of Saturday night’s clash between the sixth-placed Demons and the eighth-ranked Cats at GMHBA Stadium.
