Preview:
Fremantle play Port Adelaide on Saturday, 7.00pm at Subiaco. The Dockers should be able to win here, and could even clinch second ladder position if the Swans beat
Geelong by a small margin. The Power also have the finals to look forward to, however, and will be keen to impress in the lead-up to their first finals campaign since
2007. While Port do have what it takes to surprise the Dockers here, they will need to have everything in place to defeat a hungry Fremantle outfit.

Dockers coach Lyon fears Paul Roos
Everyone would love to see Paul Roos coach again. Well, almost everyone.
“I’d like him to stay out of it,” Fremantle coach Ross Lyon joked on Thursday.
“He’s a pretty good coach. He might train someone up really strongly and it’s a bigger threat.
“I’m happy for him to stay out of the industry.”
Both Brisbane and Melbourne are bidding hard to snare Roos as their head coach.
Roos has repeatedly stated he’s not keen to get back into the caper, but he also left the door ajar for a change of heart.
Lyon was an assistant to Roos when Sydney won the flag in 2005.
The pair remain close friends, but even Lyon isn’t sure whether Roos will coach again.
“He’s a really close friend. We talk weekly,” Lyon said.
“But what he’s saying publicly is what he’s said to me.
“At the moment, everything’s not aligned, but that could change really quickly.”
Not only was Roos a master coach, but he’s also proven to be an excellent mentor.
Lyon has blossomed as a coach after serving his apprenticeship under Roos.
Sydney coach John Longmire was also an assistant under Roos, and led the Swans to the flag last year.
Fremantle and Sydney are both guaranteed to finish in the top four this season, and they remain a chance to snare second spot if Geelong falter in the final two rounds.
Lyon just fell short of winning a premiership during his four-year stint at St Kilda, but is aiming to deliver Fremantle their maiden flag.
