A good clash is brewing on Sunday with North crossing the border to take on Adelaide.

Both teams sit outside of the eight and are little or no chance of making this year’s final series but we should still expect a competitive clash, as was the case in round 9 this year when Adelaide staged a remarkable comeback to win by 1 point.

Registering a surprise win over Geelong three rounds back, Adelaide have since found Fremantle and last week, in the local Derby, Port Adelaide a shade too strong since.

On the other side of the fence, North salvaged something from this year with a win over Geelong last week.

The win would have released some of the pressure at North who have had several heart-breaking losses this year but, with a run home that includes Essendon, Hawthorn and Collingwood, North need to make this one count as well.

Adelaide’s once strong home ground record has been eroded this year with a  3 – 6 record and think that North can exact some revenge on their opponents from earlier in the year.
