The current stats suggest there will be little in this battle despite Collingwood having won the last four matches between the two clubs in comfortable style.
The home side managed – if a little controversially – to snatch a one point win over Richmond two weeks and comfortably accounted for the Gold Coast last week, winning by 45 points.
That gives the Dockers a record of 4-2 this season.
Collingwood also boast a similar winning record with their two losses coming in the past month at the hands of Essendon and Hawthorn.
The Pies have Geelong and Sydney waiting for them in rounds 8 and 9 respectively so a win here is imperative with an immediate tough road ahead.
Collinwood have been slow to start in recent weeks and have been behind in each of their matches early in the past month.
A similar start here could prove costly as a parochial Western Australian crowd will be baying for Collingwood’s blood.
Should be a tight encounter and the tri-bet looks the best option.
