Lance Franklin and the majority of Sydney’s other big names are unlikely to feature in the inaugural AFLX competition, says Swans vice-captain Dane Rampe.
Defender Rampe may take part in the new, abbreviated format during the AFL pre-season but expects the Swans to field a mostly young line-up for next month’s tournament.
“(Buddy’s) still getting back into full training, I dare say you won’t see him out there,” Rampe said on Monday.
