Experienced Geelong trio Jimmy Bartel, Tom Lonergan and Josh Caddy will have their first AFL hit-outs of the year in Saturday’s NAB Challenge clash against Essendon in Shepparton.
The Cats have yet to finalise their lineup for the match against the Bombers, but assistant coach Matthew Scarlett says superstar recruit Patrick Dangerfield is set to play again.
Dangerfield was clearly Geelong’s best player in last weekend’s eight-point loss to Collingwood.
